The Lao PDR government during the UPR hearing in 2010 and CERD hearing on 2/27-29/2012 called on that some "ill-intentioned groups have tried to distort the goodwill of the Lao government" "some ill-intentioned groups sent different kinds of fabricated, baseless communication report."

The 27 Hmong girls and young boys deported by the Thai Official back to Laos on November 2005. Some return to their parents with severed rape and sex slave, the rest nowhere to be found.
